I was pondering today how much some career coaching can be; not that I really want to send customers away, but when you do the research, there are places out there that charge, for one hour of coaching, upwards of $300. I read of one company that charged $1200 just for teaching interview skills; my time is valueable, as I am sure that yours is too; however, we are in a tough economy, and sometimes the individuals who need the most help, really don't have the money it costs to sharpen their resume, networking, negotiation, interviewing skills, etc.
Guess what, there is hope! Aside from our prices and free consultations (there was some shameless promotion), there are other sites out there that will help. One non profit actually helps individuals who can't afford interviewing attire, another organization will review a resume for free; some of us really do want you to land your dream job; so if you aren't finding the answers, if you are overwhelmed with the cost to get career coaching, keep looking for resources; they are there, and this too shall pass.
