Patience

Patience in Job Search

You must exhibit great patience during the time you wait to find you if you are the candidate selected for the position. Corporate inefficiencies will almost always make the hiring process take longer than you want it to. Some companies even plan on a constant flow of their positions remaining open. It becomes a business strategy to not fill all positions. Money is saved, manager time is protected, and budgets stay in check. Just make sure that during the interview process you spend time asking questions on how the process will proceed. Keep your work, keep searching and eventually you will get the offer. I had one client interview for a position then finally get his offer 4 months later. The decision maker became very ill and was not able to move the hiring process forward until returning from medical leave.
